The ICEA ECOBIOCOSMESI AND ECOBIODETERGENZA label for cosmetics and cleansers has obtained the international accreditation issued by the International Organic Accreditation Service (IOAS) and is equivalent to Europe‘s leading labels for organic cosmetics.
Together with partners such as EcoCert, BDIH, Soil Association, CosmeBio, ICEA has created the trademark COSMOS, the first International Standard for Organic Cosmetics. In collaboration with the Italian Anti-Vivisection League (LAV) the Institute checks companies that do not test products on animals.
ICEA currently inspects and certifies 250 companies and about 4,000 products of organic and eco-friendly cosmetics and cleaning.
