The main voluntary certification schemes developed by ICEA to date, and aimed at companies committed to sustainability, concern the following areas:
- organic catering, to define the minimum requirements of the service, the rules of control and information to the consumer, applicable to catering;
- catering and gluten-free products, as a guarantee that the products produced and the gastronomic preparations administered do not show traces and / or gluten contamination;
- vegetarian and vegan products, allowing catering companies and those producing organic vegetarian and vegan foods to certify their products also as organic, thus obtaining double certification.
