NPF is the new label for the certification of products containing wool fibres.

INFORMATION

The Nativa Precious Fibre is promoted by Chargeurs Luxury Materials, the world leader in luxury worsted wool, and merino wool producers, and involves the issuing of a third-party certification that assures the quality and traceability of wool fibres throughout the chain of custody, from the farm to the finished garment for fashion brands. The garments are authentic and made from natural fibres that respect the environment and animal health. The certification covers the entire production chain from livestock farms to textile manufacturing.

Nativa Precious Fiber guarantees:

CERTIFICATION PROCESS

Preliminary Assessment.
The initial assessment of products and the production process, which includes evaluating the composition of the products for which certification is sought, as well as the conformity of raw materials and suppliers.

On-site inspection.
On-site inspection aimed at ascertaining the actual conformity of products to NPF criteria, the correct organisation and management of production processes and internal procedures that could compromise product conformity, and the maintenance of the chain of custody to ensure that material is correctly identified and traceable.

Issuance of the Certificate of Conformity.
The issuance of the certificate based on the information and data collected during the evaluation and verification process.

Surveillance.
Annual surveillance, i.e. periodic inspections at production units, product storage and distribution centres, in order to verify the maintenance of conformity conditions.
