Bio Siegel is the German national logo that is used in Germany on the label to distinguish organic products.
INFORMATIONS
Operators who market organic products in Germany that already comply with EU legislation (Reg CE 834/07), can affix the logo “Bio Siegel” on their products.
As for processed products, the “Bio Siegel” logo can only be used for products that, out of the total ingredients of agricultural origin, they contain at least 95% of ingredients of agricultural origin coming from organic agriculture.
Therefore, products already certified by ICEA pursuant to Reg CE 834/07, can be identified by this logo.
