The\u00a0\u00a0Global Recycled Standard (GRS)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0is promoted by\u00a0\u00a0Textile Exchange<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0, one of the most important non-profit organizations that internationally\u00a0\u00a0promote responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0With this standard, Textile Exchange recognizes the\u00a0\u00a0fundamental importance of recycling<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0for the growth of a model of\u00a0\u00a0sustainable production and consumption;\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0aims to encourage the\u00a0\u00a0reduction of<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0resource\u00a0consumption<\/strong>\u00a0(virgin raw materials, water and energy) and to\u00a0\u00a0increase the quality<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0of recycled products.\u00a0The GRS provides for the issue of a\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0third party\u00a0verified environmental statement<\/strong>\u00a0which proves:<\/p>\n
