LEED\u00ae Certificate of Eligibility certifies construction products, construction systems.
\nIt certifies the sustainability characteristics of the building materials with respect to the potential contribution they have for the activation of credits envisaged by the LEED\u00ae building certification system.<\/p>\n[\/spb_text_block] [blank_spacer height=”85px” width=”1\/1″ el_position=”first last”] [spb_text_block title=”INFORMATION” pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” el_class=”info” width=”1\/1″ el_position=”first last”]\n

\"\"The\u00a0\u00a0Green Building Council Italia (\u00a0GBC Italia<\/span>\u00a0)<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0adapts to the Italian reality and promotes the\u00a0LEED\u00a0\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0certification system\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for buildings, whose parameters establish precise\u00a0\u00a0criteria for the design and construction\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0healthy, energy efficient and impact buildings environmental content<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

The LEED\u00a0\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0certification\u00a0\u00a0is based on\u00a0\u00a0specific standards for the different types of buildings<\/strong>\u00a0, and is organized into thematic sections for which credits and scores are defined.<\/p>\n

ICEA evaluates the\u00a0\u00a0performance characteristics of<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0building\u00a0materials<\/strong>\u00a0and issues a verified and third party declaration of the\u00a0\u00a0potential contribution to the activation of LEED\u00a0\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0credits<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

For this purpose, specific\u00a0guidelines for the application of LEED\u00a0\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0credits<\/strong>\u00a0have been prepared\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for the various categories of building materials.\u00a0For each category,\u00a0\u00a0the LEED\u00a0\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0Credits<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0to which the materials can contribute\u00a0are\u00a0highlighted<\/strong>\u00a0, as well as the objective compliance indicators.<\/p>\n[\/spb_text_block] [blank_spacer height=”85px” width=”1\/1″ el_position=”first last”] [spb_text_block title=”CERTIFICATION PROCESS” pb_margin_bottom=”no” pb_border_bottom=”no” el_class=”iter” width=”1\/1″ el_position=”first last”]\n

\nInitial evaluation of the products and of the production process which includes a verification that the product responds functionally to the declared use, the execution of any further laboratory tests on the products in order to demonstrate the potential activation of the LEED\u00ae credits and the evaluation of the cycle of product life through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology.
