FSC\u00ae is an independent, non-profit international non-governmental organization, established in 1993 to promote responsible management of forests and plantations.
\nThe\u00a0\u00a0FSC\u00ae brand<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0identifies products containing wood from forests managed correctly and responsibly according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.\u00a0The forest of origin has been independently controlled and evaluated in accordance with these standards (principles and criteria of good forest management), established and approved by the\u00a0\u00a0Forest Stewardship Council\u00ae<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

FSC\u00ae provides 3 types of certifications:<\/p>\n

  1. Forest Management Certification (FM)<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0– issued to forest managers and owners whose management practices meet the requirements of the FSC Principles and Criteria.<\/li>\n
  2. Chain of Custody Certification (CoC)<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0– guarantees the FSC\u00ae certified material and the products deriving along the entire supply chain, from the forest to the shop.<\/li>\n
  3.
