INFORMATIONS

Companies residing outside the European Union that intend to export organic certified products to the EU must be certified by accredited Control Bodies in equivalence with Reg CE 834/07 and Reg CE 889/08.

These Control Bodies are recognized by the European Commission by country of activity and by product category (fresh, processed, etc.).

The complete and updated list of authorized Control Bodies is reported in REG CE 1330/2016 or available here.

ICEA refers to Standard IACB (International Accredited Certification Bodies), equivalent to the aforementioned EU regulations, drawn up by a group of Control Bodies working internationally and which are accredited by IOAS (International Organic Accreditation Service), an internationally recognized US accreditation body.

The list is systematically updated following the decisions taken by the ICE Certification Commission.
