The companies resident outside the European Union wishing to export certified organic products to the EU shall be certified by Control Bodies accredited in equivalence to Regulation (EC) No. 834/07 and Regulation (EC) No. 889/08.

The European Commission recognises such Control Bodies by Country of activity and by product category (fresh, processed, etc.).

The complete and updated list of authorised Control Bodies can be found in REG. (EC) No. 1330/2016 or it is available here

ICEA refers to IACB Standard (International Accredited Certification Bodies), equivalent to the EU regulations mentioned earlier, drawn up by a group of Control Bodies that work internationally and are accredited by IOAS (International Organic Accreditation Service), an internationally recognised US accreditation body.

The list is systematically updated following the decisions taken by the ICEA Certification Commission.
